First show of 2006

Hello everyone and Happy New Year from The Comical Mystery Tour.

We had a really good time and a good turn out for Merried to the Mob. We still have a couple of performances of that show this month. If you haven't had your holiday party yet and want the holiday show for entertainment, we would be happy to perform for your group.

Our new show "Murder at the Chicken Ranch" opened to a rowdy crowd of 9 people on Wednesday. Chandler's and Zoe's are weekly shows for this run and hopefully shows in the future but both places will cancel the shows if they don't get more than 10 people for an evening. We hope a lot of you can make it to the show. It is a lot of fun.

Miss Molly Moultry owner of Moultry's Poultry is worried that she might have to shut down the Chicken Ranch because she owes the bank a bunch of money. She and some of her friends are having a big poker game and if she wins big, she can save the business. Homar Sharif is the sheriff in town, but the game is Okay because he is playing in it too. He stops by the Chicken Ranch every day for lunch but especially enjoys the desserts that Molly and the girls whip up. He would be totally lost without the Chicken Ranch. Annie Yolkley is one of the sheriffs favorite girls. She has been working for Miss Molly for quite some time and looks to her as a mother figure. She will do just about anything to help out and save the ranch. Randy Roper is the Ranch's handyman. He fixes just about anything that is broke at the ranch. He doesn't talk much but he is really good with his hands, just ask the girls. No one else would hire him because he is too quiet. It looks like things might work out for Miss Molly with the game until Peter Perdy shows up. He wants to play in the game but is only out for himself. If Molly doesn't win, the Ranch is lost. If Perdy wins, everything is lost. Someone isn't willing to let that happen. Come help us figure out who's to blame for the "foul play". If figuring out who done it is too much "egg"sertion just remember rule 1 and have fun.

We will hopefully be performing every Tuesday and Wednesday at our usual venues. You can check out the details in the schedule section. We have some other shows that will be open to the public if you want some different scenary.

The first show will be at the Northampton Country Club. Reservations 413 586 1898. This will be on Saturday, January 28th.

The next show will be a fundraiser on February 4th in Hinsdale New Hampshire. More information about this show will be available on our website www.thecomicalmysterytour.com.

We will be doing another fundraiser on Friday February 17th at the S Deerfield Congregational Church for Tillie Taylor. She is going to Australia as a People to People Student Ambassador. You can call her mom Laurie at 665 3111 for pricing and reservations.

That is all for now but that gives plenty of options to see our shows. I know that weeknights can be tough on a lot of people but we have quite a few Friday and Saturday night shows and a lot of them are for good causes. If you would like to talk with us about a fund raiser or private party, please feel free to email me or call me at 413 774 9844. We have the breakdown of timing, etc on our website.

The most important thing, is to remember to slow down and laugh once in a while. Life can really be overwhelming and everyone needs a break even if it is a small one. If you can't attend a show, whether it be ours or one that a local community theater troupe is producing, then at least enjoy a movie or a nice walk. Having Katie in our lives reminds us just how wonderful the small things are. Everything new she sees is absolutely amazing no matter how small. Her first snowflake was enthralling. She loves taking small trash cans for walks. If you haven't seen her yet and wonder what all the fuss is about, she will be featured as the babe of the week on WHAI.com during the week of January 16th. We thank you all for your support over the last 10 years and hope to keep entertaining you through the next 10 and beyond. Please remember to take rule #1 with you throughout life and have fun!

Sincerely,

Ken, Terry and Katie Adams
