First on time newsletter for 2005 Hello and welcome to the first on time email newsletter from The Comical Mystery Tour in 2005. It has been a heck of a year and we are finishing with a bang. The new show for November-December is "Merried to the Mob". Yukon Corleone is trying to get the union into the North Pole so he and the "boys" can share the wealth that's there. His peon Elf Hoffa is the connection to try to convince everyone it is a great idea. He believes he will be running the show once the union is approved and has bigger plans for his future. Elf Bingle has other ideas. She likes things just the way they are and wants nothing to do with the union and says so right from the get go. Elf Sprocket doesn't really care one way or another just so long as nothing gets in the way of her making sure the sleigh is ready to fly. Randolph the Brown Nose reindeer thinks it could be a good idea if it will help get him out of the shadow of his annoying brother Rudolph. He is not opposed to using any means necessary to get what he wants, just so long as it doesn't take a lot of work. Things heat up as the vote draws near and someone is definately not getting what they want for Christmas. We will be performing at Chandler's Restaurant every Wednesday starting on November 9th and running through December 28th. Jim has asked us to show up every Tuesday at Zoe's so we will be there starting November 8th and continue until December 27th. If we get a good turn out he will consider letting us stay every Tuesday for the rest of the year instead of every other Tuesday. For reservations at Chandler's in S Deerfield, call 413 665 1277 Ext 1. For reservations at Zoe's in Easthampton, call 413 527 0313. We are doing some other shows in the area that are open to the public as well. If a weekend works better for you, perhaps one of these venues would be an option. If there are no phone numbers for reservations in this email, I will update the website, www.thecomicalmysterytour.com as soon as I have the information. November 5th we will be performing a fundraiser show at All Saints Episcopol Church in S Hadley. It will start at 6:00 pm November 18th we are doing two shows. One is in Gardner at the Easter Hall Masonic Hall. It will start at 6:30. The second show on the 18th will be at McCrays farm in S Hadley. This will be the 3rd year we are doing a fundraiser with McCrays for 4H. This is a dessert show. There will be no dinner so the show starts a little later, but the ice cream pizza is "to die for". November 26th we will be doing a show for the Worcester Irish Parade Committee in Worcester at the Worcester Hibernian Cultural Center. Cocktails at 5:30 and the show starts at 6:30. Also on November 26th we will be doing a fund raiser at The Cavalier in Chicopee for the Ajac Junior Athletic Club. Call April 413 535 1455 or Roy 413 533 2760 for reservations. $30.00 In December we have one extra show open to the public booked so far. Rooster's Bistro in Northfield has invited us back to blend our strange sense of comedy with their wonderful cuisine. This is a rather small venue and we always have a blast there so if you want to attend this show, you should make your reservations early. We do still have some nights free for private parties, company christmas parties or fundraisers. If you are interested, just let me know and I will be happy to work with you to put on a show that will tickle your funny bone but not kill your budget. If you don't think you have enough people to have your own show, bring them to one of our public shows and make that part of your holiday party. We look forward to seeing a lot of you at our shows this season. If you can't make it we will continue on through the year as always and hope to see you sometime. We wish all of you the happiest of holidays and hope your new year is better than anything this year. Thank you for your support through the years. We are starting another generation of acting with The Comical Mystery Tour. No, my 11 month old daughter will not be in the show just yet, but my 19 year old son Dan will, so no matter where you see a show, there will be an Adams in it. Please go easy on him though, he had to grow up with me. Happy Holidays from Ken, Terry, Dan and Katie Adams |
