Chandler's Update Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that we think we have fixed the server issues with our email. Over the last few months, we have gotten error messages when we sent out emails to our list. We had no way of knowing who got it and who didn't so I am assuming that quite few of you haven't been getting emails from us to hear about our shows. I apologize for that, but I think we have it fixed. The email you received earlier today was sent from my new service provider and he said as far as he knows everyone should have received it. If you haven't been getting emails from us, it wasn't intentional we just couldn't find you. You should all get the newsletters and updates from now on. Yeah! On a sadder note, I am afraid that June will be the last month that we will be doing shows at Chandler's in S Deerfield. It has been a great 9 year run, but it is time for a change. There have been different issues over the years and both Chandler's and The Comical Mystery Tour felt it was time to part ways. There are absolutely no hard feelings on either side and hopefully come fall and winter when the attendance usually picks up, we will be back there for a few months. If you really enjoyed seeing our shows there, you have 6 more chances before Baked to Death ends it's run on June 27th. We will still be doing shows every Tuesday at Zoe's Fish and Chop House in Easthampton MA and they are excited about showing new customers what they can do. Please don't forget that The Comical Mystery Tour and the team they are sponsoring for the Relay for Life, The Eclectics are hosting a fund raiser show at the Montague Elks in Turners Falls this Friday May 25th. Seating is at 6:00 and the donation is only $20.00 with all proceeds going to the Relay for Life to help find a cure for Cancer. It will be an all you can eat pizza dinner with desserts provided by Roseanne's Bakery in Greenfield. We will have salads and coffee and soda included in the donation price. The Elks will have bar access for those people that would like drinks. Call 413 325 1361 or 413 325 1940 for tickets or you can pick them up at WorldEye Bookshop in Greenfield. We are also hosting another fund raiser for the Relay on June 2nd. It is a mini golf tournament and will be held at Long View Mini Golf on the Mohawk Trail in Greenfield. Tee time will be 4:00pm and there will be mini cash prizes for the winning teams. There will also be hole in one contests on each hole where you could win a car. (all right, a mini car, a matchbox not a mini cooper or anything like that). Entry fees are $10.00 per person and we will match you up with 3 other people or $35.00 per 4 person team if you pre register by calling 413 325 1940. This is the chance to get the whole family out for a tournament to have some fun in the great outdoors and help a great cause. Long View has graciously granted access to the Tri State tower for anyone who plays in the tournament at well. You can't beat that with a stick (maybe a putter, but not a stick). We wish you all a great summer and look forward to an amazing future. Ken and Terry Adams |
