Time to Clown Around with The Comical Mystery Tour Happy Summer Everyone, The show running July and August is called "Murder at Clown College". It was written by Donna DiLuzio of Northfield MA. This will be the premier run for this show. If you want to see local talent performing a locally written show, come to Zoe's or Chandler's and have some fun with us. The show takes place at Clown College. Everyone is attending their first day at school. Zing is the headmaster. He runs a tight ship but likes to have some fun, usually at other people's expense. He has a lot of years of clowning experience behind him but he took over 51% of the college when his wife died from a mysterious accident. His Stepdaughter is Happy, no really, that is her name. She would like nothing more than to follow in her mother's shoes. She says she doesn't mind that her stepfather has the controlling shares in the college but do clowns ever lie? Her real father is Clarence. He divorced her mother years before she even met Zing and lost a lot of time with his daughter. Now he has quit his job at the chemical plant to dedicate himself to his daughter and clowning, not necessarily in that order. Howie is Zing's assistant. He is a graduate of the clown college who lingered because he felt more comfortable here than anywhere else in the world. The class is rounded off by Mae Western. She really hopes that you will all "come over and see her sometime". We will be doing our usual shows at Zoe's and Chandler's. If you don't know about them, you can find contact information and more on their websites which can be found on our links page on thecomicalmysterytour.com. We have a couple of private shows booked for the two months but no other public shows. This show is very funny so we hope you can all make it. The summer looks like it will be hot and muggy so what better way to spend an uncomfortably hot midweek evening than eating fabulous food in airconditioned comfort while watching a hilarious murder mystery. If you are interested in booking us for a private show at anytime, feel free to contact us. The show we will be doing for September-October will be "The Jack and Kill Stag". It is a case of a wedding rehearsal gone terribly wrong. This is one show that proves you can't have your wedding cake and eat it too. Our holiday show running November-December will be "You Can't Toy With Death". The show takes place on the island of Nitwit Toys. It's not too early to start planning for a holiday party and if you want some fun and different entertainment, give us a call or email. We book up Saturday nights pretty quick, usually by the end of August, and Fridays usually go by the end of September. We love to personalize private shows with tidbits we can get about individuals or companies or competition or whatever. I will be double casting this show so we will be able to do private shows on any night, even Tuesdays and Wednesdays, our regular show nights. We wish you all a wonderful safe and happy summer and hope to see you at one of our shows. Yours in comedy, Ken and Terry Adams |
